Colleen Rennison, at the age of thirteen, has spent over half her life training and working in the entertainment industry. Since her first Feature Film role at age 5, she has been in 7 Features, as well as numerous Television Movies and Television Series. She has shared the screen with Bruce Willis, Michelle Pfeiffer, Rachael Leigh Cook, Hallie Kate Eisenberg, and Kathleen Turner, among others. Rob Reiner and Sally Field are two of the many directors she has worked for and learned from. Her work has taken her to Ireland, Los Angeles, and numerous Canadian locations. In the film "Beautiful (2000)", Colleen plays Minnie Driver's character as a child. In November, 2000, the Television Series "These Arms of Mine (1999)", in which she stars, begun its first season.
Colleen has been recognized by the industry for her work. Most recently, she has been nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Dramatic Program or Mini-Series, for her role in the Canadian Short Film "A Feeling Called Glory (1999)". She was also nominated for a Leo Award for the same performance. In 1997 she won the award for Best Actor, in the YTV Young Achievement Awards.
Colleen is a gifted young actress who consistently demonstrates an understanding of character and motivation as few actors her age are capable of.
